If the tire manufacturer recommends a 7"- 9" (listed as 7.0 - 8.0 - 9.0 on the website) wide wheel size for a specific tire in certain size, is a 9" wide wheel pushing it, and maxing out or stretching the tire? Or is a 9" wide wheel fine and safe?

Thanks for the input...So... the manufacturer says that the correct size is from 7-9. And you ask if 9 is too wide???
Just exactly why would the manufacturer tell you to use a rim size that is not acceptable? Maybe the "8" key on their keyboard was broken so they just said "Screw it"?
Maybe they are secretly hoping to be sued at some point down the road?
Mark...
