Eric is right, specs are pretty iffy and there is *very little* information regarding model variations. IIRC, '93 FZJ80's had the standard Toyota rear axle, but subsequent models had the semi-floater Dana 60 rear axle, but I am not 100% if the Dana had a centered pumpkin or if it had an offset pumpkin like on the Vzla-spec 60 and 70 series.
Most (if not all) Autana's are part-time 4WD, as were the 1993 and I think 1994 VX's. After that, the VX was available in full-time auto, but I am not sure whether part-time was still available.
To add to the confusion, the 5-speed transmission used in the VX-spec is different than the one used in the STD (known locally as "Autana"), and there were further variations throughout production (still going on on strong, BTW, FZJ80 still in production today). EFI was introduced in 2000 or 2001, as optional, and became standard in 2001 or 2002.
There are some interesting items that were spec'd on Venezuelan FZJ80's, like the big manual chrome mirrors, the refrigerated center consoles (on the VX), split front bench seat on the first few years of the Autana, and even vynil seats on some of the early Autanas. No rear ambo doors, no electric lockers, no sunroofs. Front running lights are clear rather than yellow as in US models.
I wouldn't step within 25' from Venezuelan used parts, as they're bound to be hammered and Venezuelan junkyard dealers make US junkyard dealers look like benevolent samaritans, these guys define lack of scruples. Besides, junkyards in Venezuela are the number 1 venue for retail of stolen, chopped-up Land Cruisers, and this could be problematic at customs.
