Saw this lime green at a recent gathering. Mine is the non-Toyota Tropical Beige next to it!
Owner of the lime green should have the keys confiscated.

.. I like it. Here's another pic for those that care.
I like it very much ....... although I probably do not qualify to be a purist anymore. At least I kept it all Toyota - does that count ?![]()
Earth-tones are good, even if it's not a toyota color. Even primary colors can work. Neons, quit sniffing glue.
Beautiful cruiser you have there. It reminds me of the color I'm thinking on my '72 FJ40 which is Boxwood Green. It was used on early broncos along with some other Fords from the late '60's/early '70's. I've restored a few early broncos in the past so get to "cross reference" via paint the two so to speak.
It's either Ford Boxwood Green or Toyota Spring Green. This thread makes me lean more towards boxwood out of spite. They green goes really well with the off white (Wimbeldon White for Ford) you used for the bezel/hardtop.
Yeah, I'm partial to red (a primary color), but earth tones do have a certain appeal.
Robert LaDuke said:When i restored mine I could have repainted it the original Freeborn Red. It would have been a lot less work. My problem was that i really didn't want a red truck...... I wanted green. If i had known about Nebula green ( a Toyota color) I would have used it. Instead, I went with a color that I liked that I thought would look good on this vehicle.
I'm usually a purist with this sort of thing..... but in this case I decided to try something a little different. I like it. Here's another pic for those that care.
my 40 is desert sand (military color) and black frame and detail , but i think one day it going to end up monochrome ,wheels, frame, bumper and all ,just like those non cruiser military rig
My favorite by far! And possibly out of all of them on mud.
Desert sand the color code is a Toyota color from a 2007 FJ Cruiser with 25% flattener PPG single stage
