11 hours before leaving on a 2300 mile trip, the rig (ridiculously outfitted) dies. Would crank but no start. I have in 3 years of ownership, I've never had a start issue.
I guess it was awesome luck being 1 mile from my work and not in the middle of the Utah desert, but still very disappointing.
No codes, no warning lights, no visible indicators. It had been in for 250k maintenance (a bunch of stuff including timing belt, water pump, etc.)
I suspected EFI relay/board and jumped the pins to fire the fuel pump manually, still no luck. I also could not hear the fuel pump with key on.
Went on the trip anyway as a rider (Valley of the Gods, etc. etc.) and on returning pulled the seats and carpet back. I have power to the pump connector, BUT, it's only 10V (battery tests to 13.3 v).
I have a new pump on the way as this needs to get replaced at this mileage. I'm concerned about the 10 V reading at the pump connector though.
Thoughts?
