no charging (1 Viewer)

Bought my 75 pig a few weeks ago. PO said she started having charging issues 2 years ago...the charge light was on and she put in a new battery and a new alternator, and still no charge, so she parked it. I tried a new battery, took the alternator to pep boys where they tested it and said it was fine. I cleaned up some wiring (there had been a power inverter installed) and still not charging. I guess the voltage regulator is next?

Try the voltage regulator, but also check to see that power is getting from the battery to the starter.....maybe a bad cable/connection. Also check the ground wire below the starter.....

it is starting and running fine...battery is just being drained
