For Sale! In NM, 1984 FJ60 has 220,600 original miles on the stock I6 (4 spd manual)

As far as I know, I am the third owner and the first out of the state of California. I purchased it 3 years ago. It is mostly original from the paint, headliner, wheels, and seats and most of the upholstery. It is in great condition, and is a contender for a full restore should you wish. (I have replaced the factory side mirrors and center console, but do have the originals in the garage) As it is now it is quite impressive having no rust and I suspect it was garage kept in CA. It’s been under a carport here and has been a solid driver.

Tires are 85%, just put in new radiator, water pump, sending unit, fan clutch, and battery (Toyota parts if available). In the last few years the front hubs have been resealed, steering knuckles rebuilt, and a new master brake cylinder was put in. New oil pan, main seal, clutch, new master cylinder, rebuilt carburetor, spark plugs, 32” tires and more! She runs well and I have driven her as far as 6-7 hours to go fly fishing and camping.

This vehicle has no rust, just minor surface spots. Body is straight and true with just minor dings and factory paint. Factory working AM/FM radio is a plus and even has original rims and owner’s manual! The dash is cracked in 3-4 places and I have just put a replacement dash on top. It is not glued down as other FJ owners told me they will crack as well, and just ruin the original completely getting it off. A/C blows cool and hard, but not cold. I have been told by other FJ owners that it works well, but I do not agree. May need a refrigerant recharge…

I have a little over $16,000 in it and am asking $12,000, but will consider offers. Let me know if you have any specific questions I can answer. I'll do the best I can. I will post lots of pictures in the thread. PM me if interested, and thank you for looking!

Thanks Rockymtnreaper! I was curious...I posted this up Sunday and have had only 1 reply. No questions or comments other than yours. Does something look wrong with the rig? Am I asking too much? Maybe it's just slow recently, but lots of views on the pics. Confused...

Thanks! Anyone else?

Very nice 60. It's priced reasonable. Mileage is a bit in the high side for the price but it's very clean. You should tidy up the engine compartment a little. Also, post pics of the underside. I have 3 cruiser projects so I'm not in the market but GLWS!. Great color!

It's a little high on price for the mileage.. Super clean, I agree with xtremeVA... Tidy it up! Other then that it's the waiting game if you want that price... If your hurting bring it down a touch.. But really it's a pretty 60!! Dig the paint, and the shape it's in!

Thanks guys! I'll do the best I can to clean it up a bit! I appreciate the input!

ALERT...PRICE DROP $11,000. I have 1 more rig than I need and would like this one to find a good home!

Thanks again for the comments and all the views!

Beautiful blue 60. Reminds me of the one I had. Wish it was in my price range ($5000)

Best of luck
