Selling my 1987 FJ60 4 speed 2F motor
Stock carb
204K miles
NM vehicle the last 30 years
Vehicle was used in stranger things ( background parking lot vehicle )
95% rust free, rear quarter panel had some body work done (slight change in paint in the corners )
Rockers are rust free
Frame 100% rust free
Body has no rust besides back tailgate that was replaced and repainted at some point matching red
Interior is very clean , rear seat reupholstered viny, back carpet reupholstered vinyl
Suspension is tired and needs a refresh ,
transfer case engages 4H 4L 2H correctly along with corresponding light
Carb is healthy all EGR and smog items intact and functional
AC and heat work - AC compressor is a little noisy when engaging (might need oil/service)
2F motor is healthy and starts right up
Slight oil like from what looks like it’s coming from the front main maybe ?
Has aftermarket header / exhaust leak where the header meets the exhaust (I’ll fix that soon)
Trans shifts smoothly
truck does not have factory wheels
Has a slight shimmy/ wobbly around 45-50
Front brakes can use a refresh
Overall this is a solid rig it’s not a show rig but in my opinion not far off , very little work to become a nice reliable daily/ camping rig, or just drive as is . Basically a blank canvas for whatever you desire and fairly priced .
