We had a real good day of wheeling today, a bit cool first thing in the morning then it warmed up nicely. Not too hot not too cold. had five club members, Stosh and his son, Vince, Andy Zook, Andy Marquardt, and myself, we were joined with an old wheeling friend of mine, Bill in his extremely capable old 68 Bronco. Got out of the staging area about 8:45, not bad at all. Went down the hill past the old entrance and staging area, then did Jotters way, and the hillclimbs down past that area. Hit trail C on the shortcut and did CV trail, then back to C and the main road then down over the hill to H. Downhill on H and did several parts of trail 12. From there we went down to the main crossroad and into taril 13, it was tougher than I remembered it being. Got down near the bottom and four of us turned left across rock creek and up trail 12. Went up to H, then back down and did trail 14. Andy and Bill had contined down 13, finished that and did trail 16 and met up with us for lunch. from there we did 15, back up H, up two of the hillclimbs to the main area, up the tower line to the pole line then onto trail P. Did part of P then turned onto 1A, did that and hit a few of the upsy downsy sections, then back to the staging area. Four of us had had enough for the day and Andy and Bill headed over to the south property for some more fun. All in all it was a very good day with no breakages and we covered quite a bit of ground. Vince's new Toyos worked quite well and he pronounced them a good buy. Got home by 3PM and have the 40 tucked back into her garage stall. Was surprised as was Andy Z that there was as much mud and water there as rain has been scarce around here lately.

Awesome! Bill with the red buggy Bronco?

Here are a couple of pics my son took today.

Bill and I went to the NE property for about a hour and a half. It wasn't as ugly as I had been told. We did some blue/black trails over there. Bill has way too much truck to have real fun with us. When we split before lunch we were going to do otters. I got about 60' in and decide I didn't have enough truck can you imagine that!?
My neighbor joe had a good time and did well driving my truck. He doesn't really drive stick. It was also his first time driving off road.
I bet Andy is ready for sliders and a locker; )

Glad you guys had a good time. I have too much going on with work and family right now to get wheeling time, but maybe November.
