You're not the first one I've heard that from about the KMS pricing.ADAMS TARP AND TOOLS - now in NANAIMO
Purchased Midland tools building in Nanaimo.
Now offer a full tool product lines and their main target is to under sell KMS tools any sale you see at KMS they will beat or at least that’s what they told me. Of course time will tell.
I’m on my way to buy a new Metabo grinder
Ya the metabo stuff here is generally cheaper "okish" tools...So much for Metabo. Sold out, not nearly the same quality as the original German made grinder
I’ve got. Damn.
But promo sale on so went all in on Milwaukee 18V kit. Upgraded to most powerful impact.
Can almost buy a car for the price of tools now, but I expect last set for me.
Owners really nice, definitely personable and spent time with me going over the tools.
Also, he’s a Toyota guy so ya know, not all bad! LOL
See if you can find someone locally rebuilding them. A friend of mine does batteries here, buys broken/dead packs, puts new cells in them to replace the 1-2 dead/low cells then resells them.I went all in on 18V Milwaukee. Basically I've got Rigid stuff I bought initially in 2007 when we built the house.
Couple of new drills. Batteries might drill 15 screws, just worn out. I got a box set, sawzall, grinder and portable
skilsaw I've wanted for a while. It came with 1/2" impact but I upgraded that to the Grand Daddy 1/2", f'n thing
is much bigger and claims to be far more powerful than my 1/2" Snap-On. I'm gonna be doing some suspension
work on the Tundra and a direct competition is in place. As usual batteries are gonna be the major cost, it only
came with 2.
That’s there. Here some guy will want me to pay him to give them to him. Then he’ll charge twice what new are ‘cause the cells are better’. To be honest I’ll probably just leave them on the side of the road with a ‘Free’ label.See if you can find someone locally rebuilding them. He usually charges less than half of new, and they work just fine for me... I've had a few going for a couple years now with daily use, no problems
Christ, I hope not. Too many guys I’ve talked to live and die with Milwaukee. I thinkFour of my Milwaukee batteries have recently decided to not take a charge. Two years is about max for those I’ve found.
I suspect Dan is a little harder on them than your average garage tinkererChrist, I hope not. Too many guys I’ve talked to live and die with Milwaukee. I think
Paul Z has shares now from the stock he has.
