It’s where you pay $$$$$ for work and inspections... many of which aren’t done... even though they claim they were.

I’m reaching the conclusion that the drop in fuel economy when our ‘08 was less that a year old was due to a faulty thermostat. Toyota had it twice for two days and insisted everything was working as designed. I replaced the thermostat and have actual heat for the first time in 10 years... but there was nothing wrong. ;)

Couldn’t be anything wrong... the computer isn’t throwing any codes... my butt.

Because going back sometimes is a good thing. This just was posted as a question in diesel section. I had no idea why Wilson.
Now I know too. Very cool
I have two that need attention, one on each truck.

And here I'd just assumed it was a volleyball.

Speaking of road salt. Guy on the Tundra forum built inner rear wheel well liners. Going to a nice
comfortable limit to protect his truck. Easily same idea could work on the 60. Will look
at something for the front as well.

Didn't see a link to the product he used, I was looking for something similar for wells on my 40.
eBay links were expired.

Should just ask at IPP I suppose. They'd know.

I'm signed in to the forum. I'll ask him. I'm curious myself as I'd love to take the 60 on winter road trips, minimize damage.
The guy lives in Minnesota, wrote much of the book on how to make cars rust there. Seems to be working 3 yrs later since
he did it.

Looks like readily available plastic. The guy gave me a link to another source. Basically 1/8" polyethylene of sorts.

I'm going to go to industrial plastics later on this week. I've got to run to the big city for a couple of days across the water,
then when I'm back I'll look.

I searched Industrial plastics for this stuff without luck. Maybe someone here will have better luck.
Be nice to have a removable barrier even for mud as well as salt. Plastic would clean off under pressure easily too

Anyone ever seen this stuff for sale anywhere? Rust Cure

I found it at Canadian Tire. Saw what I hope is a legit YouTube video with it on lawnmower deck.
So today begins the one year experiment. It seems to bead water on paint of upper deck one year later still.
Worth an try, experiment. I got equivalent Rust Check I’ll try on some garden equipment and see how they perform.

I had an issue a couple years ago where I was getting charged for prime in Canada and the US.
I suspect I signed up for US prime by accident when  shopping
Anyway, I opened the chat window, was talking to a human in seconds, they said it'd have to be resolved over the phone because it's a CC refund thing.

They gave me a number to call...and someone actually answered the phone. 😳
I was so shocked I wasn't remotely prepared, too many years of dealing with Shaw I guess.

Was refunded and done in less than 5 minutes.
