Sure if you have any contacts. Funny tho, even the vic napa shows 598, it's only the sydney near as I can tell.

The MTL place is 306 if it's actually the same clutch, but it'd be a bitch to return if it's wrong. :meh:

Just for the heck of it, I took RADD's Toyota part numbers (too lazy to find them myself in an EPC) and pounded them into Partsouq. Clutch disk, pressure plate and throw out bearing comes out to $328CAD shipped. Those are Exedy clutch parts and NSK bearing. There are lots of parts to choose from there tho. Aisin, Exedy, etc.

RADD part numbers: Toyota 3B clutch kit for BJ42, BJ60, BJ70 Exedy - https://radd-cruisers.shoplightspeed.com/toyota-3bclutchkit.html

Partsouq: PartSouq Auto Parts Around the World - https://partsouq.com/

I order from them regularly; never had a prob.

Cool. I'll have to check that out when I'm at a real computer. I'm in the gathering parts phase for some tcase stuff. Clutch shudders like a bastard so I figure I'll do what I can.
Probably should rebuild tranny too but I'm gonna put that off.

The other day Rob called me about SafeJacks. I’d seen them before. A very cool option in combination
with floor jack and really tough well thought out jack stands.

I‘ve been pounding out the work on the Tundra getting it road worthy. It’s morphed into something
beyond what I expected. But I came across a very cool item that goes hand in hand with the Safe Jacks
Its called ProEagle Beast. An amazing design and evolution of floor jacks.

These are ideas, and it’s ideas that keep me interested in how to make working on Cruisers fun and safer.

I have a couple of these things. Came with a truck I bought once... Not same brand but probably from the same factory all this kinda s*** comes from. Pretty useful I find.

I have two of the big floor jacks. The Little metal wheels that jam on a pebble are annoying. Maybe I need to ad a lift kit...

That’s cool, but only 10” of lift? Still, could be handy. BTW, check out the wheels on that
Eagle Jack.
Rob, what’s that creeper with the big wheels you have? I was trying to remember that.

Should anyone care to follow along, the Tundra has taken on a life of its own.

Had a read through. I feel Our Ambo had last been used by someone laying irrigation pipe. It was so dirty my hands were black before I got it home. People worry about it’s in service ‘filth’. By the time I was done cleaning 7 years of contractor who doesn’t give a crap out of it, there’s no trace of that life left.

I’m getting there. 5-6 hrs yesterday just scrubbing interior panels. The guys on Tundra.com
are a good bunch. I’ve had some very generous offers of help and free parts should I need.
Surprise of the year - Tundra design and engineering is fabulous, making working on any part
very easy and intuitive. It’s the epitome of ‘click-it’, couple of retained fasteners then it just
unclips in units. I will definitely be crossing-over later version plastic fasteners into the Land Cruisers.
I’ve got about a 5% breakage rate on plastic clips. One the BJ74 it was closer to 75% for some.
YouTube is a gold mine of information.

They're like a jack stand so you can raise the saddle part, pin it and then jack.

I don't know if I'd have bought them, but they're a lot nicer than regular stands.

Yeah, with your skill set fabricating something would be straightforward. I’ve just not gotten around to it myself.
But the idea is fabulous.
I have already fabbed up a very cool offset bracket for my floor jack that lifts from the
center axle and lifts the truck straight up. Should market that one.

I’ve got an 8 Ton floor jack that would be perfect for one. The 2 ton stands aren’t heavy enough for what I’m working on most. The cruiser is to the point it doesn’t need much work often.

The only problem that I find with bottle jacks is limited range or motion. Lifting 8 - 10” will change a tire,
but hard to do real work under the truck with that. Aviation plane jacks start with tall rams like engine hoists,
obviously they lift from a much higher starting point. But the frame of a partially lifted cruiser is almost 2’.
With 18-20” of range of motion I've thought of copying them. One problem then is requiring a much, much
larger shop just to store all this crap in

Awesome.

We have a newish one too, not quite as young. 15 months or so.

Got her from a young couple who lived in a tiny basement suite where she was pretty much raised like veal.

Came with about 9 bags of treats, maybe two cups of actual dog food and a cage.

Still a pain in the ass, but she's mostly improving.

Figured she'll maybe learn some good habits from the old boy while he's still around...or maybe just all his bad ones

Considerably less fat now that she has a yard where we can run the s*** out of her daily.

I think some sort of marsupial got in the woodpile. Just stands up to look around.
