Thanks everybody for your help. I ended up scooping one up locally. It's an 04 Blizzard Pearl with 146k. Has ALL maintenance records through lexus dealers and very clean. There is some surface rust on some of the components underneath but the frame, upper and lower control arms, front and rear diff's, and all rear suspension components are in great shape. Actually most everything underneath is in great shape. The two things that will need some serious attention are the gas tank skid (if you wanna call it a skid), and the inside of the rear bumper. Its nothing a little time, a couple brushes, and a qt of KBS can't take care of. As soon as I can figure out how, I'll get some pics up and formally introduce myself. Thanks again.... Oh and I've already started mod'ing. I tackled the "Fog light on with brights" mod today. Just the beginning......

Congrats!

What is KBS?

When it comes to 100 series rigs, ignore the mileage and year. It means very little. 200k is what I'd consider "low miles", haha.

Search for a CLEAN car with records. Timing belt is a big job. Look for that. Look for rust and a clean car. My 99 LC can just about pass for a two year old car if I clean it up (minus the worn driver's floor mat, which is worn).

It should look clean and stock under the hood and under the body.
