Howdy Folks!

New to the forum, but can't tell you how many tips, tricks, and knowledge I have gained just by watching from afar, so I decided to join.

Restoring a 1985 FJ60, 110k miles, took out emissions, and went with the 38 Weber. Weber suggested a Holley Fuel Regulator as well.

Question: Can anyone post a few pics of where they mounted their fuel pressure regulator? Holley says mount between fuel pump and inlets. Thanks! Here's a pic of where I am at currently in the process.

get rid of the two adapter plates and go with one of the single billet adapters available from several online vendors. there is also an adapter to allow you to retain the oem air cleaner housing, which is far superior to any of the little aftermarket deals. check the jets in it, especially the idle jets, more than likely it's way to rich right now. as far as the pressure regulator, i never found one that worked well. once they are jetted right, you do not need a regulator.

Brian, thanks! Ok, I won't worry about the pressure regulator for now. Thanks for the tips. Also, any specific brand or retailer you like for the single billet plate adaptor and OEM air cleaner adapter?

Brian, thanks, just bought both from JT outfitters. Man, no idea they had these! Wish Weber offered them in the carb rebuilt package as an option at least...

I put my pressure regulator on the fender. I'll try and get a pic tomorrow.
