First task; how to post! 79 fj40 50k miles. Stock cali. rig (until now). Has set for several years, just starting the resuscitation. Will get holly sniper, DUI dist and ignition, alternator upgrade (10Si? Haven’t figured that one out yet). List goes on. And on! Will be looking for any advice and searching threads for been there done that wisdom!

if it is a January+ 1979 and has the original engine and accessories, distributor is fully electronic and very durable, alternator is internally regulated and unless running lots of extras is just fine
