I'm trying to get an asking price for my
1988 Toyota pickup
Reg cab
22r (not "E"
4 speed manual
228k original miles
No rust to speak of
Minor debts and dings from rude people in parking lots
Nothing major
Not a Frankenstein
Pretty much all original
Any advice on where to start with this question?

If it's in great condition, doesn't have a red interior, with low mileage (less than 100k), maybe 2500 if it's super clean no rust no dents original paint nice interior etc. Sorry not a lot, 2WD models aren't in high demand (yet).
