new turn signals on older rig (1 Viewer)

I have a friend putting later model turn signals (big square) on his 72 FJ40 -- he hooked them up, but can't seem to get everything working right.

What does he need?

If you do not have that, you will not have working lights, period.

Early (pre '75?) rear lamps use the same filament for the turn signals and bulbs. So if you are talking about the rear lamps, you can't use the separate turn and brake lights. You will have to pick just one. If you are talking about the fronts only, all you need is good connections.
