OK, installed new TD tb's today, when I drop the lc it is sitting low as it possible up front. I pull front housing and rotate the tb to get the adjustment bar in back down to give me more thread but when i tighten up front, it returns to the upward position and I am back where I started!! I don't even know where my factory marks are now, I have a big fat mess...Help?

Marking it if you are installing new TB doesn't really matter.
You have the front suspension in the air at full droop and the adjusting bolt nearly all the way out/unthreaded as you are bolting up the torque arm? (Torque arm is the part that bolts to the LCA and the TB slides into)

Typically you do that, then then tighten the adjusting bolt, lower the truck to the ground and check height, adjust as needed. Also you will want to drive the truck back and forth before you measure to get a true height reading. If you just lower the truck to the ground the front suspension can't go to its actual ride height since when the front suspension cycles it pushes out ward as it goes up (characteristic of nearly all independent suspensions).

Thanks! The ps tb needs to be reindexed, but need to drive it this weekend so it will have to wait. Ds side has plenty of adjustment left.

When a very competent friend and I swapped torsion bars on his 100, it took us quite a few tries to get the bars indexed correctly. We measured, marked, installed and the front sat lower multiple times. We kept taking it out, measuring again and reinstalling. I think we had the bars off by one tooth, despite our careful measuring. I don't think it's unusual to have to try multiple times before you get those things installed correctly, even as simple as the process is.

Good luck!

Thanks! I felt like a big dummy after fooling around with those things most of the day on Saturday. I believe I have my ps off by a tooth or 2, I am gong to pull that bar back out and rotate the rear housing /anchor arm and see if I gain more adjustment since it is maxed out, unlike my ds that has plenty of adjustment left.
