Honestly I am against them if I don't need them! Never tried them and I wouldn't do it on my LC! I might do it on my subaru if needed!

+1 -- not a fan of spacers. Too dangerous...

it is .. they lowered 'em a bit .. now starts around 36K or so ..

Take that "cold air" intake off and return it to the stock airbox and you'll see some gains! Don't believe the hype. That intake is sucking in hot air. Get your hands on an ODBII monitor and you'll see exactly what I'm talking about. When done correctly, a CAI will extend the intake to OUTSIDE the engine bay. That heat shield does nothing. All that is is a cone air filter with heat shield, not a CAI. I've been down that route with many vehicles. Do the testing and you'll see exactly how hot the intake air is.

Hey there JBHorne, couldn't help notice your comment and seems like you have allot more info about air filters than I do. Been looking around for a replacement to my factory air filter for my 2015 LC 200 4.5L V8 diesel and cant seem to find anything specific for my car. Allot mentioned that a 5.7L petrol engine air filter is the same what im using but needed more convincing. K&N, aFe and others have options for the petrol engine but not the diesel engine specifically. I have a snorkel installed and hoping to hear your comments and advise.
