Congrats on the new LC200 Kuwait!

The LC looks so much more manly with the lift.

That is awesome. Your cruiser looks awesome. Is it 5 speed automatic or manual? Please post interior pics as well and have fun out there!

Take that "cold air" intake off and return it to the stock airbox and you'll see some gains! Don't believe the hype. That intake is sucking in hot air. Get your hands on an ODBII monitor and you'll see exactly what I'm talking about. When done correctly, a CAI will extend the intake to OUTSIDE the engine bay. That heat shield does nothing. All that is is a cone air filter with heat shield, not a CAI. I've been down that route with many vehicles. Do the testing and you'll see exactly how hot the intake air is.

Otherwise, looks good!

Thanks JBHorne, i will take ur advise and ill fix the stock airbox and see if i notice any diffrence, OBDII its hard to get here in kuwait and test it :(

Hey! Congrats on the new rig and the posts! I will look out for you while driving around! :p Have you decided on re-gearing and getting bigger tires or at least going 295 or 305 on stock gears?

If you do intend to go back to the stock intake, would you think of a snorkel?

:flipoff2::flipoff2:OFFICIAL WELCOME :flipoff2::flipoff2:

Looks great except for the windows. Are you going to tint it a little?

Funny how many options there are for the V8 LC in other countries, we only get one variant in two trim levels.

well im not considering re-gearing my rig becuase its a v8, and i didnt went above the 33" hight tires "noo big change" maybe later i'll order some 295, because its not available in kuwait its a rare size, my tires are cheap and i can find them in kuwait all year "60 kd / tire" :D

im think of a snorkel, but its a 2010 i dont want to cut my fender, it would hurt me :p maybe later i will

its already tinted now all around ;), its hard to find time to take some good pictures of my rig when i work in the morning, and in the evening im doing my MBA, after i finish from grad. school all i want is to get home have a good night sleep :frown:

How are you liking the 4.7? Its a great engine

with the new vvt-i feature, its much better than the old ones, more fuel efficient, and u can feel the power through the whole range of rpms.

LoOoL! You make it seem like my Carbed 1FZFE isn't any good! :p

What's your take on the whole 60th Anniversary vehicle they put out?

FYI People : In case people are wondering what the 60th Anniversary Land Cruiser is all about, well it's to commemorate 60 years of Toyota entering the Middle Eastern market and NOT 60th year of the Land Cruiser. I admit when I first read ^0th Anniversary Land Cruiser on the advert I was like, "The 40th Anniversary was a 1997 FZJ80 so how can we have a 60th Anniversary in 2010?" They when found out what the story was all about.

no way I can compare 1FZFE to my v8, it has been in the market 4 decades and still runs strong, some people I know put them under extreme conditions, and still runs, my friends used to owns a 2006 which I think is the same engine "correct me if I’m wrong" and have 300,000+ km on it he sold it 6-months ago im comparing the V8's
As for the 60th Anniversary LC200, its way over priced, I can get lx570 with a 383hp, instead of the lc 5.7L with 320hp aprox. With almost the same price, also the 60th Anniversary badge on the sides looks cheap IMO.
4.7L have a 275hp stock, add some goodies "custom exhaust, headers,...ect" and pay much less
60th Anniversary lc200 cost: around 79k $
Where the VXR with 4.7L cost: 65k $
imo I won’t pay 14k $ just for 45hp difference and a stupid badge on the side
**all the price according to my last visit to kuwait dealership "AlSayer" in 23-09-2010.
