Hello All...

I am a new owner of a 1986 70 Series. I just took possession this past week following delivery from the right coast.

I am actually attempting to accurately identify the correct model as it was originally described by the Seller as a Turbo Diesel Cabrio Landcruiser TDI.

My VIN is: JT1P0LJ7009500666

It is a SWB model with the soft top.

Would this model correctly be a PZJ70??

Any comments appreciated.

Looking at your Vin you have a LJ70.......Results from Toyodiy.com below.

sounds like an lj70

im no 70s expert but im pretty sure the pz series are a 5 cylinder diesel that came out roughly the same time the 1hz appeared so early 90s

There is an aluminium plate on the fire wall that gives you the model,engine and transmission type.
