I traded the Con-Ferr rack and some $ for 5 used BFG 33x9.50s
ATs on white wheels (1 unusable). Thanks to Raphael (Roxx) for letting me know the guy who had them was considering selling them.

Below are some pics to compare. I'm really loving the new look. Can't wait to hit the trails next month and see how they perform.

Perfect David. Looks awesome

pretty dern rad.

Sexy! You'll love how it rides offroad with those larger meats.

Very nice! Should give ya slightly better highway speeds/RPM's too.

I like the tall, skinny look. I have 255/85R16s on the troopie, they look nice. I'm thinking on going the same tall/skinny on the 100 when the MTRs wear out.

The new shoes look great... I like them 100 times better than the roof rack. Really digging the white wheels w/ hubcaps. You now have the best looking stock cruiser on the board:beer:

Did they come off the totaled blue 40?

Thanks guys.

Jason - Yes those came off the totaled blue FJ40 Kevin had. While I really liked the look of the roof rack, I simply couldn't have the taller tires and fit into my garage. It looks great on Kevin's 40. I hope he'll come join us on the trails this year. I'm painting my spare rim to match the others since one was badly damaged in the wreck. I think the white is pretty close to the color of my bezel so it ties it together somewhat.

I guess I'll find out next month at URE if I need extended shackles and/or a lift, although I think either or both would help her look even better.

Now if I can just find a steal on some extended shackles and a quality lift kit...

They look nice. Do you still going to have the Hamom on the 28 th?

Rafael - Thanks again for letting me know Kevin was willing to part with them. So far it's you, Brad and me at Brad's on the 28th for the knuckle rebuild. It would be great to have a 4th person but I've also been advised 4 would be the most to have to avoid confusion.

yup,, next comes the sawzall plasma cutter and SOA baby ;)
(youll be one notch below mark if you do this)

looking good David! Rice would love to see that ole girl. I'll try and get him out to an event soon.

Jason, only with a gun to my head would I consider cutting the rear quarters. I felt sick to my stomach drilling and cutting sheetmetal to install the forward facing rear seat.

Darin might have some springs for me but Rafael thinks a couple extended shackles in the rear and I'd be all set.

Have Rice come to URE later this month. I don't think I'll be back from the beach in time for the June trip.

I have some anti inversion shackles here. Not sure if they would work for your application but if they do we can work something out. Saw Rice again today; got a smile out of him when I told him she was getting some love (axle build) and maybe a lil lift.
