After my FJ80 met an unfortunate end I knew my next rig would be a Land Cruiser. I bought this 2007 LC with 212,200 on the clock, one owner, high miles but super clean. Not great records but whoever had it took care of it.

3/30/2018 - Purchased from Fantasy Auto Sales in Phoenix AZ
- dealer replaced steering rack, radiator, hoses, air filter, and battery.

3/31/2018 - Get rid of awful 22" chrome wheels in favor of new Tundra take offs
front sway bar links need to be replaced as well as tie rod ends.

4/1/2018 - No joke have an appointment with Murf at Camelback Toyota for a new timing belt, water pump, belts, and coolant.

Interior is clean: Nav, rear camera, DVD, third row, AHC etc.

New wheels:

4/4 - aka Xmas in april @ 212,452 miles
  1. 1.25" spacers to fit the front tundra center caps and fill out the wheels wells
  2. weather tech mats
  3. new roof rack, good for 130 pounds of camping supplies
  4. my freshly powder coated trans case skid plate fits my new 100. it's like a piece of my 80 lives on with my new 100

liquid gold 75-90w redline and mobile 1 gear oil for the front, rear, and tans case.

Friday! final push (for now) on baselining
4/6/018 212,4xx
  1. New Toyota fuel filter
  2. 4 quarts of Toyota tranny fluid
  3. Moog front sway bar end links

4/9 - pumped in another 3 quarts of fresh tranny fluid.

How are the moog performing?

I have about 36 miles on them, so far so good. The good thing about the front sway bar links is it takes about 30 mins to swap them out so if they suck, no biggie.

Just a tip ... you can upload your photos directly through the reply interface here on Mud, along with your text. No need for whatever hosting stuff is going on. It would make this thread way easier to load and view and get rid of all the extra headings. Easier too probably. Stupid pet peeve of mine.

Anyway, good thread, thanks for sharing.

spacers will flush those wheels out. recently did this and best cosmetic upgrade. and you can use the covers on the wheels

Looking great man!

Good job on banishing those 22” chromes! Good heavens to bad you can’t set them on fire and roast some hotdogs or something over em!
