Yes I'm looking at doinbg a SOA this coming fall looking at getting the parts now.I'm looking at a 2.5 lift springs as well 2.5" DICK CEPEK SPRING LIFT are these any good I'm looking at getting the whole kit for 325.00

Hi All:

Wayne, you should come down to Seattle for the next Seattle Cruiserheads meeting. We have two guys with SOA FJ40s that can give you good advice.

I think I'd pass on the "Dick Cepek" lift springs. Your stock FJ40 springs would be better for a SOA conversion. Most guys use either FJ55 or FJ60 rear leaf springs in order the stretch the wheelbase of the rig a few (about four) inches.
