Thursday I had the pleasure to add both to my 2000 LC.

All I can really say is, both are top notch products, built very very well, fit perfect, look and work wonderfull. The sliders are just incredible......they look like they are part of the 100.......like what it should have had all along, nice work Christo :)

so, here are the pics

Very nice! I've been patiently waiting for the LX step sliders myself. Will that Slee Insignia hold up to being stepped on?

I would think so, but I will give it the test today, but I have walked all over the sliders when I put the rack on, so I am sure its not an issue.

also, the sliders are very beefy, they don't budge at all, no rattles, no issues.

Connie thinks she wants a pair for her LX......

Your LC is with what lift / spring rate and tire size? It looks great, hope to have my 2000 looking good as yours soon.

Slee T-bars, OME 862(I think) rear, Slee diff drop, 285 BFG's, Warn 9500XD in ARB, just added a Odyessy 1700 and a Slee battery tray with a Oribtal(not wired up yet) Also Connie got me a small ARB fridge(our big on is used for a outside fridge at home)

next, prolly some slider drawers for the rear.

and once again.......I vividly recall saying I was keeping this cruiser stock......guess that didn't work ;)

nice rig

Nice work Landpimp! A few questions:

Slee's site shows the slider/steps as discontinued, is this true? From the looks of it, the sliders are bolted on to the frame rails, no welding involved? Lastly, I'm wondering if the mouting setup would be different on the LX and would they work on 03-06 Cruiser/LXs?

yes, these are new, look at the 80 series slee slider steps
http://www.sleeoffroad.com/products/80_sliders_steps.htm

yes, just bolted on with U-bolts, its a very stong mount, but i haven't bashed them on anything yet.

Chisto did mention the LX uses a different mount, so no these won't work

I spoke with the guys at Slee Offroad and they said it will be about 4-6 weeks for the LX sliders. You might want to get your name on the waiting list.

I might do a rear bumper but with no tire carrier, I am in/out of the rear of the LC all day long, tire carrier would drive me nuts.

It's looking real good. I like those running boards too. When you going to do a rear bumper;)

Thanks Hoser! I'm not ready for the upgrade yet, but it's good to know that some are in the works.

I feel the same way about the tire carrier. Not to mention the rear wheel blocks a good portion of the window. But if you bought the bumper w/o the carrier would you still carry a spare under the vehicle? Might look kinda strange.

Sawheet! Looks great! I'd love to get that roof rack, but the 100 won't fit into the damn garage if I do.

Just took my SS tube steps off this weekend, those sliders would make a nice replacement!
