Hi all!
I've got myself a new rig last week end!
I used to browse this forum on the 70 section.
The truck I got is a 1993 4runner.
It's 5 speed, 22re power (4 bangers yeah!) and it's very clean in and out!
I got a good deal on that truck! Everything works on it! Even the back window! (Had to be replaced by provincial inspection when purchased)
It has 188 xxx KM on it, yes that's Kilometres! (I'm in Canada)

Here are the pics!

And here are my old Land-Cruiser Bj70's pics.

I intend to keep my 4runner mostly stock, I'm going to university, and have a 3 years run at it.. so stock form is good enough for the little wheeling I'll be doing. Mostly getting to fishing spot and some exploring etc. Nothing too serious.
I don't want to kill the beast (22re) with too big tires, I used to run 31x10.5x15 on my old toyota pick-up and I felt that the engine was pretty weak.
Also, gas economy is a big concern, I might stick with stock tires also. :(

Anyhow I just wanted to show you my new rig!

Have a nice one!!

Matt

Yeah, I sold the 70 to a previous 60 diesel owner, they have the same engine.
The guy really like it, if it was'nt for school, I would have kept it, but can't afford two toys when in University :crybaby:

Yeah that wing is kind of rare I guess, from what I've seen on others 4runner on the road yet.

Update :
Wow I really need to change my suspension, my rear coils are saggy and they make the runner feel like a limo!

Like I said, this thing won't be towing much, maybe a small fishing boats from time to time (4 or 5 times a year) and other than that, only camping equipment in the back.

I was thinking about putting Old Man Emu coils in the back, I guess medium should be good enough.

Where is a good place to order those? I've got brand new shocks in front, but I've heard stuff about cranking the torsion bars? Anyone has a " How To " on that?

Thanks

Matt
