hello ppl, attached is some pics of my new toy :D, Right hand drive, located in Trinidad and Tobago, ....Thats in the Caribbean , in case you all didnt know....camera wasnt available to take a pic while it was in the PO's yard.....now its in mine....hehe..........all there, only thing missing is a fuel tank and filler......original engine and tranny with single speed TC......pland include getting it running and functional...its not going to be pretty when done, it going to be useful, functional and utilitarian....just how it was intended to be

would you all believe, just a few weeks ago i didnt know what a fj25 was........i came across this old guy with a wrecking yard, and he mentioned that he has an old cruiser parked up...........4 speed box with a single speed TC....i thought he was making stuff up.......after googling it, thats how i discovered it was a fj25.....pretty rare/unusual....got to have it...now i do........:grinpimp:..good thig im not married or the wife would have told me to go sleep in it..........and just imagine her horror when i would sleep in it and enjoy it...hehe
 
Snipo, nice 25! You're right, looking pretty original, did you get the rear wheels too? At least you have the fronts. ;p

I'm not sure how many pics you can post, you may have reached your limit. You can host them somewhere else and link them, , or you can get a silver star and post as many as you want. No matter how you do it, we need more pics! :D

Congrats, it should be a fun project.

any ideas on how many fj25's were made as right hand drive vs left hand drive?

i have the number which is stamped on the frame, how do i figure out when my 25 was made?
 
how do i go about getting a silver star so i would be able to post pics?

the extra down tubes seems to be added by the PO....evidence of sloppy welding

According to the 50th Anniversary book:

1959 - Domestic 1,135 Export 2,635 Total 3,770
1960 - Domestic 976 Export 2,347 Total 3,323

There isn't a breakdown for RHD/LHD, but the domestics were all RHD. . Right hand drive is of course a novelty to us.............but we only got 224 in the US. :confused:
