Any thoughts on this one. Would be a family hauler with occasional beach and long drives. I'm worried about rust so, I got some undercarriage pics but can't see so clearly.

Jaja it's for the wife, you know shiny things and such.

It's a bit crazy these seem to go quick for 12-14k maybe I'm just cheap.

For those miles and that model year, IMO it would need to have had most all the major services - TB/WP, Valve covers, Front diff, steering rack, etc done very recently to come close to justifying that price, it just seems like a lot.

Undercarriage looks clean to me. The front skid plate isn’t even rusted which is a good sign. I really only see surface rust in some areas.

If the big maintenance items are done already, then 12-14k is solid imho. I’d shoot for that as an offer, but personally, I wouldn’t mind paying $15k for it. Just make sure it’s up to date on maintenance.

How often, if at all, was it used to tow. And what was it towing?

That's a good question. The hitch has the small adapter on which is like for bike racks and such. The owner is mother in law so I can't imagine she was using it to tow. , but I will ask. Prior to that it was in AR and I have no idea.

How much do you like audio? That nav setup/audio setup is meh when it works well. 2001/2002 i believe are the only years for that nav setup. You can swap it back to a non-nav hvac setup and double din audio but the parts are the overseas models or junk yard and you need to be handy at wiring. I’d look for a non-nav at that mileage/price. Suspect that’s why it’s still available at that price. When I researched it, I got quoted between $2-3k to make the swap on that setup to non-nav manual hvac/double din setup but that didn’t include the needed parts, just the time/labor on making the wiring changes.if it’s for your wife she’s likely going to want Apple CarPlay which means either the grom or go down the rabbit hole of non-nav swap.
