New Newer Newfields/ Grease

Got the new newer Newfields yeaterday.
I want to install them on Sunday.
I have 4 tubes of moly grease. How many do I need to have?
I bet 4 won't do it.

I used 2 tubes per side and packed it nicely. You can pump more in from the knuckle once you get it all back together anyway

I used about 1.5-1.75 tubes on my drivers side.

and 3/4 of a tub of grease in the bearings.

I have Citgo moly. If Carquest is open on Sunday, can I mix their moly grease with the Citgo grease?

I"ve heard bad things about mixing greases. I think the only sure way to answer if the citgo and carquest greases will oil out is to ask the manufacturers. It depends on the make up of the two.

As the Newfields are new, do I need to take them apart to grease them or just pack them as they are?

Waddya mean "new" Newfields? Is there a new and improved version?

I haven't called them about mine clicking yet. They only do it when the CDL is locked, so it hasn't been a big concern. I keep thinking I should be carrying a spare.

They are new. Improved, well..........................................
Only time will tell.
They are now using the 94 longer birfiled. They were using the 93 shorter birfield.
I was lucky I keep my 94 flanges a I had to get the 93 flange when I got the older Newfiled.

I would pack them.

I used Valvoline Durablend Moly...good junk.

Wouldn't mix it if you can help it. Save the odd ball tube for filling the knuckles once your seals fail

Well, the first ones are.
$275 each direct from CVUnlimmited. They can be had for less if you search the web. I was in a hurry so I paid full $$$$ for them a year and a half ago.

The new Newfields SUCK.
They are no better than the MAF birfields.
The DAM ABS ring does not stay on. It falls right off.
