Greetings from Eugene, OR!
I just joined mud yesterday but have been perusing the forums for over a year now while shopping for my first LC. I ended up purchasing an '01 LX 470, it has 215K miles on it, all stock except for an AHC lift and I installed 275/70/18 KO3s on 200 series wheels. It has a very thorough maintenance history and the PO was a Toyota Technician, so it has been well cared for.
I did have a question, what are the biggest size tires I can fit on my truck? Just Kidding!
My real question is: anyone live in the Eugene area that can recommend some forestry or BLM roads for some overloading? I have looked at onx maps and have seen some interesting routes, but was curious if anyone in the area had any recommendations? Not looking to do any really hardcore wheeling, but would love to get off the beaten path and use my truck for more than going to and from work.
Thank you all for the wealth of information that is available in these forums, it was a huge help in deciding what year models I was interested in and things to look out for when purchasing. I look forward to becoming knowledgeable enough to contribute in the future!
