Hello Everyone,
Joined the community a week or so ago and just getting around to introducing myself.

I picked up an '82 FJ60 about a month ago and have already made good use of the wealth of information available here, so I thought I better join!

Clean!

very clean looking truck, assuming it must have been through a detailed restomod. What's the round emblem on the passenger side (behind the quarter panel vent)?

Thanks everyone.

I am the 3rd owner, with it spending most of its life in Texas, which luckily spared it from the typical rust seen in my area.

It has had some paint touch up work, OME lift, 5 speed trans and Weber 38 installed by the PO. The rest appears mostly original.

As for the badge on the fender, to be honest I haven't looked at it closely.... so I am not sure what is on it. I guess that shows how observant I am. I will post an image this evening.

Great looking truck! If you don't mind me asking, what part of Indiana?

The badge looks like an 'Overland Bound' Member Badge. It was a popular movement a few years ago but haven't seen anything about them lately. Personally, I'd pull it off.

It's just applied with adhesive.

Ian, you guessed it. It is an Overland Bound badge.

I am in the northern part of Indiana, next to the MI state line, just west of South Bend.

Beautiful 60! Congrats on the find.

If you want to venture up to Michigan, we host a cruiser event every year at our place. Usually some camping on our property, BBQ and a trail ride. Thread can be found in the MI Clubhouse. Always enjoy having new trucks to stare at!

Thanks for the invite Ocho. I am actually up near the Grand Haven area fairly regularly for work. I will RSVP if I can make it.

Do you still have that 60 series roof rack for sale by chance?
