Hello All,
New Member and just wanted to introduce myself. I appreciate all the tech info and have used it on more than one occasion as a guest. I have a 2017 Premium with the Ironman Stage 2 Foam Lift, CBI front bumper and sliders, Methods 305 with 33's, Warn winch, multi terrain select and crawl control upgraded so far. Next is going to be a drawer system. Was thinking about the Dobinsons. Any input would be appreciated. Live in Colorado on the front range and would be looking for others to get out in the hills with.
Cheers

Welcome to the club! Nice looking rig!

Welcome! Sweet rig setup. I’m in the Springs, if you’re close by.

I’m wanting drawers too and am planning on going with ARB. The singular handle design they have is (same handle unlatches and is uses to pull) is the reason why. Most others are dual handled and that two-step opening process would drive me nuts personally.

They’re also quality good quality, have good options in heights, depths and top slider designs so I can get exactly the combo I prefer and at ~$700 each, they’re priced right there with a dual setup from most other folks. Only real cons IMO are they’re not taylor made to the GX like some and thus may not use space as efficiently and I’m not finding wing kits for the GX but I’m good with that, can make my own easy enough.

Looks great! How do you like the Foam Cell Pros? That kit is at the top of the list for my GX470.

I will take another look at the ARB, I was leaning to Dobinson because of how the fit and finish looks. I'm closer to Boulder but we should still meet up some time and do some wheeling.

I am impressed with the Foam Cell. I had concerns that it might really change the ride quality but it's great. I have seen on other forums where people dog the Ironman and I have never owned anything else to compare them to but I wouldn't hesitate to get them again they are everything I was hoping for and more at a reasonable price point..

Congrats and welcome, it looks like you're off to a great start with your build.

I have been running the Ironman FCP's for almost a year now and I have been pretty happy with them overall. They definitely ride better with the Performance Load coils than they do with Heavy Rate but that's to be expected. I have seen a few people dog on the brand as well, calling it rebranded Chinese built trash, but most would be horrified if they knew just how much of the stuff they own is built in part or whole in that country lol. I am not sure if I will keep the FCP's for the long haul but for now they are more than getting the job done.

Welcome and nice rig! I'm in Denver and hope to get out more this summer.

Nice rig! I believe there are many others on this site that reside in your state also!
Welcome to the "club"!

Nice rig! I really dig those rims. I too am new here, and have the Ironman Stage 2s, actually a lot of Ironman kit on my 200. I think all there stuff is fine to good, and price point is right on. The foamcells have been great on Maine’s endless logging roads.

Thanks for the long term review on the suspension! Nice looking ride, seems well equipped!

Welcome to the club. I also just bought a gx460 recently and only upgrade so far is trd or wheels so I can get some beefier tires soon. I am located in Thornton and planning on building the rig to do some overlanding this summers. Personally going to try building a drawer platform in the back with 8020 and a dometic cd30 so it's still usable as a sleeping platform

Nice we will have to connect. I was thinking of building my own drawers as well and looked into better product than plywood. Came up with a few things but still haven't decided between building or buying. I like the idea of steel system in the long run I think they are lighter and stronger than anything I can build. I'm in Arvada.

Cool, I was thinking of using 8020 shell and hdpe as skin. PM one of these weekends. I usually drive by your area to go mountain biking in Morrison

Uh-oh, am I sensing a little "bromance" happening here!

Sorry... Just had to!
Actually to be able to hang out with other off- roaders is great, especially if they have the same vehicle! That's why my wife and I had to join a 4x4 club. All our friends who have/had 4x4's that we used to go with either got married, don't have time or their vehicles are in various states of disrepair. Unfortunately, they are 95% Jeeps. So if you guys do hook up (not in the creepy kind of way...) and do some trails together, that's awesome!
