was finally able to purchase this beauty...drove home last night for about 6 hours cruising at 75/80 mph....first time driving an LC100 so didn't want to break anything lol....think she was stored away for a while because the cobwebs on the side mirrors were hanging tuff thru the wind....
the car is a 1 owner...129k miles...the seats in the rear and cargo area look new as if never sat on....
I read thru the list of things to look out for before pulling the trigger....she has a small poke mark on the rear quarter panel....also there is nothing on her behind to stick anything in....first time seeing an LC 100 with no trailer hitch....when doing the PPI, the mechanic looked under her and commented that she is a "virgin"
...all of her suspension components are original....so you have the typical leaking shocks, seeping CV boots and some play on the ball joints and bushings.....during the drive home she felt very planted but there was some vibration coming from the steering wheel....
I can't wait to start working on her....gonna try to get her base lined...update her suspension, etc....planning to do mostly light offroading/camping with the family...
there is so much info on here....will definitely learn as much as I can and hopefully contribute in a meaningful way!
