New to the forum. Recently purchased 80 BJ44VL (I think on the L) original for the most part 87k original kilometers. Obvious suspension changes and freestyle Toyota logos on the side. Runs like a top, minimal wear on mechanicals and rust limited to rear lower panels (seems to be common). Previous owner replaced all seals, and engine hoses. Radio exists, but does not have power. Heater has been disconnected (need to fix that) and does not have factory air (would love to find an original for this). Only need it every once in a while here in TX, but today was one of those days.

Thanks in advance for the help, I also have a '63 Air Stream so I know the value of this community. Any info I can give from this just ask.

Sweet ride and welcome to mud. yOu won't find to many BJ44's on here but they have lots in common with everything else anyway

Mid wheel base hard tops are rare any place but Japan and those mirrors on the fender are JDM (Japanese Domestic Market). Model would not have an L. L stands for left hand drive. BJ44RV-KC would be close. R for right hand drive. V for van or hard top. K for four speed transmission, most likely a H41 not a H42. C for ambulance doors in the back.
