Greetings,

Do you have a Toyota 100 series Land Cruiser that you would like a complete new leather interior for? If so read on.

The catch.

I will need the complete interior, front seats, middle row and third seats for 14-21 days. If there is a center console lid I would like that as well. You will need to have them shipped to a Beaverton, OR commercial address.

In return you will get your interior shipped back to your door fully recovered and looking as new! No cost to you what so ever, just shipping them to me.

I met with the company rep tonight and after a year of bugging the crap out of them to pattern the 100 series they are ready to get this done. The reason they want the whole seat is for fitment after patterning as they want to fully install them and make sure there is no issues.

I am willing pay for them to be patterned, made, installed and shipped back to you. I just need a commitment from someone to make this work, who wants to be the person to get a new interior?

I have had some people wanting a "KIT" in return for use of their patterns, I would love to do this but they will not make a pattern without the complete seats and all three rows as they want a complete pattern to be available for me.

Post up "I want to be that guy" if you can meet the above conditions. Please no PM,s , just be the first to post up. I don't want any :crybaby: with :bang:

I'd be more interested in cloth once the leather needs replacement. Same patterns I would assume.

Yes, but finding a pattern of material would be challenging.

I have a cloth interior, and no sunroof. They are out there.
For what it's worth most of the 80 and 100 guys I talk to would prefer a cloth interior.

I'd do it but my leather is like new...and it's a 99. They must have upgraded the leather from the 80 series. It is close to Lexus quality (and I have owned a 2000 LS400 Platinum Series)

Sounds like a great deal.

BTW: What would it cost for the leather and labor to have it done?

Dave

were have i read before that some cruiser interiors that came with cloth would have a leather placed on top of it...when the customer asked for a leather upgrade...i heard of east coast dealers doing this...is it true....AAtlas1x would it be easyer just to make a cover to go over the cloth like they did for the dealers?

or am i totally off ...and it wasnt the cruisers

The cloth was removed and then leather installed, this was done with Toyota and most other imports in the 80's up to a few years ago.

What's the fallback if they aren't able to make them or they come back poor quality or build?

Good question,
Completed and made in the U.S.

Cloth Seats and No SR or Third Seat

I would love to give you my seats but I would have to find a way to have my wife get around for those days. BTW read my sig line, my last 100 was a 99 with Cloth seats, No sunnroof and no third seat (but it did have heated seats) I sold it in Redwood City!!!:)

I would pay a premium for cloth and no sunroof.......what a dumb-ass concept....absolutely guaranteed to leak and break....not necessarily in that order.

Now if I could just get a formed plastic replacement for the carpet....

Shane, yes that exists, seen a few, cloth, no sunroof, no rear AC, maybe even no power 3rd row windows(forget)

If that is true I would like to see it, US model?

I don't doubt it, it just seams rare and odd to me...It's like a Denali or Escalade with out power option....

So who's got 100 series they can be without for a few weeks??

Pimp?

Bull?

Jonathon?

Anyone?
