Finally found a set of H1 LED bulbs that are a direct swap and fit with the factory dust covers. I know what everyone will say. The factory projectors aren't meant for LEDs but oh well. I think the cut off is decent and I can finally see! After going from driving cars with HIDs for the past 10+ years I hated the factory headlights on the LX. Makes a huge difference to me, and I'd recommend them to anyone wanting a really good/inexpensive lighting upgrade.

While LED's are super attractive to me for the light output and easy of install, service writer where I take my other Toyotas has mentioned a few times they had big issues with aftermarket LEDs causing all kinds of electrical problems upstream in the wiring.

They look pretty good, keep us posed on whether or not they get too hot!
The bulbs do have a tiny fan on them, but being inside the dust covers not sure how well it actually works haha. I'll take a look at them this weekend and see if I notice anything out of the ordinary.

Looks good! Did you put them in your turn signals? They will probably hyper flash when they get hot. I had that problem on my 4Runner.

Nice. I put LASFITs on my LX back in March, but then used the LASFIT deeper dust cap. Nice the bulb has gotten smaller. I haven't had an issue. I also have them in the high beams. I gave up daytime running lights, but they definitely light up the countryside at night.

Any flickering for you in the high beams when the lights are NOT on. My wife was following me and I saw the inside headlights / hi beams faintly flickering. I knew I was giving up DRL but thought it would be all or nothing

Any of you guys found an led fog light that you like that fits the factory housing ?

Did he say what problems, specifically? These are listed as CANbus compatible.

No flickering. I did disconnect the wiring from the module on the passenger fender.

On two separate trucks, 4runner and a Sequoia they were causing electrical issues elsewhere, one was with the coils and the other was ECU itself. He said it took them a long time to finally unplug the LEDs and discover that was the issue.

I had issues with LED flashers that were on my 100 when I bought it. They would cause my cruise control to turn off when I put on the turn signal. Replaced them with normal bulbs and all was good. Never had problems with LEDs in the dash or headlights.

For the coin, I think I want to try these.

Props to @TexusLexus for the post!

For the fogs I grabbed these off Amazon. Took literally no time to install and for $35 work perfectly. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0B2NZ8Z1H?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

For sure! Exactly my thoughts. I didn’t want to mess with extended dust covers, re-wiring, etc. So far they’ve been great. The light output is night and day from the best halogen H1 bulbs I could find. I can actually see at night now haha.

I had this problem with LED taillight bulbs on my 98

Anyone having issues with the Lasfit headlights? I just bought some for my LX since the OEM halogens just don’t stand a chance with everyone else on the road running LEDs lol
