I’ve been running Lasfit LEDs with Lasfit dust covers for about a year in the LX. No complaints.

Following.. any update?
I installed and have used the LASfit plug n play August 2024. Significant improvement and no problems with stock wiring as they advertise.

Had the lasfit since July 2021 (a month after purchasing my LX) got the extended boot cover and it’s been working since then

Sorry to resurrect an old post but I've ordered the LASFIT LA Air Series for the Low Beam but has anyone installed the LA Air Series for high beams? I'm wondering if it works with the DRL.

You still run the drl’s? That was about the 1st thing I got rid of. It’s a simple connector to disconnect.

Yeah, I'm still running halogens for the low beams and high beams. Once I go to LASFIT LEDs for both high and low, will disconnecting the the connector to the resistor still allow the high beams to work when switched on?

Thanks,
Gary

I need to do this. Having halogen high beams is woefully inadequate

I still have halogen as well. I just disconnected the drl’s because, well… the light comes on when I say so, not the car.

The group seems to like the Lasfit, maybe I should give it a go.

That’s what i put in shortly after i got my LX back in 2021 and it hasn’t skipped a beat. I found that there’s LSAFIT factory retail store near me. Might have to stop by. They also sell LED turn signal bulbs as well. I had them in the taillight of my 5th gen 4runner and that thing was BRIGHTs hell.

Yes, high beams still work.

I have been using Lasfits high, low, and fog lights on my 2002 LC and I have run into no issues yet. Great lights but I haven’t noticed driven anywhere more than 30 or 45 minutes.

Installed the LASFIT LA Air Series for low beam and high beams. The high beams are crazy bright. The low beam is definite improvement over halogen (it's hard to capture the difference using the iPhone camera because of auto brightness). Low beam and high beam photos below. The fence is about 20 feet away. The DRL does not come on as expected but I did not have to unplug the resistor since there was no hyperflashing when in DRL mode. Install tip- Remove the windshield washer fluid funnel and batter from the driver's side for way easier access to the high beam bulb.

Is this an LX or LC?
