Plug n play from my 15 year old Kenwood DNX series. Love the car play integration with iPhone and screen casting capabilities!

Do you still use the factory amp? What wire harness adaptor did you use to connect to the factory wire harness? I installed Nakamichi head unit and all was fine but had a tiny noise coming out of the speakers that stays on at any volume (no increase with volume), or even at the zero volume. The screen was bit too bright even at the lowest setting and made night driving bit less pleasing , so I removed it.

In a post from 2015 you stated that you avoided the amp hum by powering the door speakers directly from the head unit, but you retained the factory amp to power the rear sub. Do I have that right? Still working good?
