Beautiful color, one of the best! You'll enjoy wrenching on that rust-free Southern gem.

Agreed. I really like that color. Congrats on making it back to CO. I hope driving through Missouri was not too depressing! :p

How can Missouri be boring? Whenever I drive thru the roads there it seems to be Assemblies of God church on one side and porn shop on the other.

Not at all - I'm a fisherman and couldn't help but notice all the prime time fishing spots right off the main highway.... too bad it's so far away from CO...

Compared to Colorado (where I snow ski each winter), Missouri is boring!

Wow, your initial post made me wonder why you bought the truck, but the images show me you got a nice rust-free truck. I am not one of the experts on here, but have been tooling around on my 95' for about 18 months now. I think with the help on this forum you will be able to get your truck in great condition...lots of information on this site and one of the main reasons I jumped into an 80.

Your seat that feels like it is off the rails is probably one of the fixes found on this site...there is a white plastic cap on the motor that comes out and allows a white nylon gear to move out of placement creating excessive wear...it is typically only prevalent on one side. Toyota doesn't sell this gear but will gladly sell you a new $300 motor. But there is a source on this site (do a search) where you can find a member that manufactures the white nylon cap and gear...easy installation....very easy, and then it's fixed...less than $30/seat. That was one of my first fixes as both of my seats were basically not able to move forward or backward unless I hand twisted the threaded shaft...couldn't believe that someone took the time to make this repair for all of us.

Good luck...keep the faith and love the truck!!

the source for the seat fix part is nakman and . . .he lives in the north part of the Denver Metro area

Whew...

Well, I've cleared one major hurdle with my new purchase - just passed the CO emissions inspection with flying colors!

I have to admit I was sweating it a bit. The guy that finalized my test handed me the test result and said: "here ya go, sir - and by the way your truck passed with excellent numbers". Oh, the sigh of relief (on the inside, of course)... :)

I know how you feel. I did the same thing with mine earlier this week too. I was a bit worried too but no issues. Good luck with the truck!!
