I cannot imagine any more rake than mine! You must post pics for proof ;)

Honestly, I think the angle/perspective in the 2nd and 3rd photos make it look more raked than it probably is.

Maybe take another shot on a known-to-be-flat surface with a level background. Then drop to a knee with your camera and make sure your lens is level & centered front to rear. Perspective differences in photos really tweak there appearance angles and you can get huge visual deception with even minor perspective angles.

When I get home I’ll post some, I need to post them anyway because I’ll have 2722, 2723, and 2724 comparison pictures soon.

Here you go.

It certainly has a forward rake, but it doesn't look extreme at all to me.
1.5+" unloaded is pretty standard fare.
If you truly leveled it unloaded...then loaded the back with gear? You might not like the result.

After install it was 1.75" higher than the front. I'm thinking remove the 10mm spacer which is .4" will get closer to 1.5" rake.

Nah... you can't compare the two in the same platform. King's are awesome, I sell them too. For custom kits and the guys that want a top of the line suspension I recommend King, but they come with a $2500-6K price tag.

Looking for a little education on the difference between these after market systems and what the AVS/AHC does on the LX570 platform? Since the military uses the AVS/AHC on uparmored 200 series they must be robust enough but maybe more for overland versus rock crawling?

Ok so the rear is settling down a bit so the rake isn't as extreme. Perhaps I will keep the rear setup after all!

Just for a bit of factory perspective on forward rake... Here is a shot of my 200 when all I had done was add Rock Warrior wheels and KO2s.

Suspension was stock at that point.
Check out the factory rake...look at the difference in space above the tires, front to back. There is very real forward rake from the factory:

Looks level to me

Maybe level to the horizon, but I'm in my driveway. Look at the wheel wells...which are level to each other (aside from wheels/tires). The front is far more squatted...but that's factory normal.

It's no where near level. But then I agree that it never was. Here are some of my factory with just wheels shots.

Great setup. Looks amazing. I'm new to these forums since they seem to have the only active LC200 threads, but I've been around the various 4Runner forums for a decade or so. Just took delivery of a 2017 white Land Cruiser last night. Can't wait 'til the wife is bored with it so I can outfit it to replace my 4th Gen 4Runner. Did you have any rubbing issues before the Kings went on?

Your Kings might only be giving you 1.5” lift in the front. When I first installed the kings after having Fox’s I could get nowhere near the same height with the foxes, kings are definitely top shelf - they just don’t have a whole lot of thread on the shock housing. How much thread do you still have? Is it cranked to nearly the end? If not then you are under 2” in the front.

I eventually swapped the 14” king spring with fox’s 16” spring and bam..perfect. I just ordered new eibachs so I could keep the Fox coil overs intact to sell.

I’m guessing you have room though on those kings to get the full 2 inches they claim. If not order some eibachs..i’m about 3.75 in the front with the kings/eibach combo, may back it off a bit for more downtravel but dang it’s fun being just as high as the raptors around here . Oh and I still have about an inch rake, using the middle ome spring in the rear...

Truck is looking badass btw!

@Evoking @Yeti White @Forrest Murphy

How have your Kings been holding up with some time and miles on them? Any rebuilds? valving adjustments?

Also it appears the reservoir is in a position that you can't install the front splash guard between the frame and body that keeps mud out of the engine bay. Is this possible at all?

With the King 2.5, all factory flaps go back on. There is a minor trim job required, front driver side if I recall correctly.

I didn’t have to trim the inserts at all, but the compression knob is barely visible. A little trimming would help with adjustments.

Im thinking of cranking my coilovers up a bit as well.....can you provide the details of the eibach springs you added? Part number? weight? hows the ride?

Mine have held up great! My 08 with 2.5 is being retired to offroad only so I will be adding more lift and armor. all in all I have been extremly happy with the kings
