New gx460 owner, some questions. (1 Viewer)

So, bought a 2018 gx 460 base model a few weeks back. Still stock, but gonna do a mild build over time.

Just took the fam on a 6000 mile road trip to a bunch of national parks and have noticed a few things about the gx that maybe yall can help with.

1. Are the climate settings supposed to come back on where you left them? Mine reset and I have to dial them in every time i turn the vehicle off.

2. How do I stop the navigation screen from being the first screen that pops up every time? Can I set this to the "home" screen?

3. Can I store seat and wheel position with my key on a base model? Manual says yes, but I cannot get it to work.

Yes, they're supposed to come back on where you left them, but it's easy to to get this messed up. Turn your car on, set AC to Auto and most importantly RECIRC. Then shut off. Remove and Replace cabin air filter and make sure it's seated well and replace filter door. Something about the servos not being in the correct position when the filter door is removed causes it to reset to 75° every time. Ensuring that RECIRC is selected prior to replacing cabin air filter prevents this error. BTW you'll also find ClubLexus a valuable resource.

Wow! just learned something new! Never knew you could do that!
Probably because it's never been an issue. I'm 6'-0", my wife 5'-1" and we have the seat positions saved in the door, but only use the one key fob between both of us. So the few times she gets behind the wheel, she just pushes the button. Only issue is if she ever forgets to reset it to my position, I can't get my legs in!

Did this too, doesnt work for me. I am beginnning to think something is wrong with my system. Is there some sort of battery for memory or something?

Not sure about that, don't think so. Have you disconnected the 12V for a good bit and tried "resetting" everything that way?

My climate settings switch to 75 sometimes also… completely random though
