Hey guys, Ive talked to 2 of you from the group. Name is Steve, live down in Lancaster, and I have a pretty clean 62. Looking forward to hitting the trails and meeting you local guys. What do you guys recommend for comms? I dont know if I want to install a full CB, since Ill most likely never use it outside of trails. Hand held good enough?

I'm shure a Keystone guy will chime in on what they use. CLCC we use VHS hand held radios.
Welcome! Nice rig!

For our club runs no CB is necessary. Keep the guy behind you in your mirror and you're good to go. welcome to the fold! Gary

Horn honks and yelling...but that doesn't happen often...stay in the middle of the pack and take the line the vehicles ahead take and you'll be good. Nice rig!

I would love to see us all get on board with ham radio. After dealing with frustrations of CB the past few weeks I'll be actually getting my ham license ASAP. The range and clarity is so much better than CB. My little $50 handheld unit has been awesome.

Ham is the way to go for the trail. I've never been a fan of the CB.

Don't you need an FCC license to get a HAM?
