Did anyone ever reply and tell you how to hook up the choke cable, I need to know too?

1974 FJ40 with 2F
Got my carb installed today. I previously had a '75 Aisan that seemed to have issues. Here's pics. Twas easy. Had to bend the tube that is attached to the carb spacer (insulator) to make room for the primary throttle shaft that sticks out in front of the new carb. They lined up perfectly to be in the way of each other. My vocab terms might only make sense to me, cause I am unsure what to call it.
Course I prolly did something wrong.
Anyway, I cracked the spacerwhile trying to bend that tube and had to glue it back. Other than that, install was easy. Best $ I've spent so far trying to get my beast running good. Now, she purrrs, idle is smooth and even, starts without choke even here in cold Wyo. No stalling either. This carb is so much easier to figure out.
Only thing left to fix is she sputters and loses power under load or on inclines. Gonna look at getting a TH dizzy. Any idears?

BTW, Trollhole carb is awesome. I prefer it over my de smogged and rebuilt Aisin.
Will my stock choke cable hook up on this carb without any adapters or modifications (74 FJ40 with mechanical linkage)?

Anyone have a suggestion for my choke cable on fj40 with new carb, the cable stop on the cable end keeps slipping, the old carb had better but is not interchangeable - how are you folks here attaching your choke cable to your new carb?
What cable stop are you using on the end of the choke cable to attach to your carb pls?
There is no stop, you use the hold down bracket on the carb pretty straight forward. Post a pic of what you got going on.
I don't have a pic, but thanks. I mean where the cable end connects to the actual choke on the carb, not the hold-down bracket.
There is a set screw.

Jerry do you have my carb? All my carbs come with a cable stop. I't just a 1/4 cable stop. Should be able to find something that works at the autoparts store.
Well I am not sure now, my buddy who is in the military buy it for me and now he is shipped out overseas, I will know when I see him again, it looks like yours and I hope so, but thanks for your replies, I know where in the hell I will buy from now on !!!
