Just have to say thanks again. It snowed about a foot last night super cod today here in Utah. Full choke two pumps of the pedal and bam fires right up!

That would have been a 20 minute ordeal with ny old set up!

1985 FJ60 - Im assuming I can re-use my stock Dizzy with Trollholes Carb. Any benefits to also buy Trolls Dizzy and match the Carb too?
 
The troll dizzy has lots of benefits:
Fully electronic, No points to mess with, Looks sharp, Simple Vacuum advance, Quality vendor!, works!, and is about as simple as you can get. I like the KISS methodology behind it!

Basically you can't go wrong and for the price its awesome!

Reuse your stock 60 Dist. Can't go wrong with trollhole's stuff but if your 60 Dist. is not worn out there is no reason to get rid of it. I'm running a trollhole carb with a 60 Dist and it works great!

Good Point. Stock 60 Dist is still running good so I will keep for now.

I'll second this. Points I'd do a swap. A 60 dizzy you already own then I'd leave it alone.

Trollhole,

I have a 1974 FJ40 F with mechanical linkage, running an FJ60 electronic distributor. Which carb do I get, the FJ40 version with mech linkage or the FJ60 carb since I'm running the FJ60 dizzy?

Got anymore left for a 1987 fj60 w/2f. I am looking for a carb and desmog kit and recurved dizzy. I sent a pm, but as I understand it you are a very busy person. Any information would be much appreciated about prices and availability. Thank you ahead of time for your help.

Prices are in the first post of this thread. I don't sell the desmog kit you will need to get up with fj40jim or jim c. As far as dizzys I won't have stock for 4 weeks.
