Thank you everyone, I'm looking forward to meeting you during an upcoming adventure. I'll have to admit, I may have jumped the gun a bit... my Land Cruiser is still in transport but should arrive next week, so no pictures yet. I found him in the classifieds here, so you may have seen him. Despite not arriving yet, I feel pretty comfortable in assuming it's a "he..." vehicles in our house take on a personality.

We've been moderate off-roaders with our Touareg TDI, but when VW had the buy-back it was time to step up our game a bit. After research, an 80 was the clear choice. Now it's just a matter of getting him here... and getting out to explore. Our favorite weekends combine some trails with a long hike in the middle of nowhere.
