I was gone most of December but wanted to get some projects done on the cruiser. When the radio went that was the last straw. Murf came to the rescue and handled the relay rod replacement, stereo, power outlets, and a good cleaning. I consider us lucky to have Murf in our midst who cares about these rigs as much as we do.

When I got the rig back from Murf I installed the ram mount, Kenwood ham radio, and new GPS nav display/video player for the kids/MP3 player/etc.

Following are links to all the kit.

Latitude XT2 XFR Tablet PC
Before you ask...I didn't pay 3K for the tablet...the unit is substantially less if you purchase it refurbished on dell outlet. That said I can't tell it is a referb unit. I have multiple applications for it, server in my Juniper lab, so it made sense for me.

If you are looking for a tablet I saw this unit last weekend and was impressed with it.

Kenwood RC-D710 I'm hoping some of you follow me off the cliff and get licensed.

RAM Mount POD III W/ DBL BALL This was easy to install. I took coat hangers and bent them in the shape I wanted then bent the aluminum rods using the coat hangers as templates.

Power outlets can be had at West Marine

The new radio is a Pioneer with SIRIUS that Murf hooked me up with.
