Just pulled my 295 durtracs off after a good 40,000 miles. To say the least they had become loud, and they never the best for road handling. I went with 275 BFGs and I can't explain what i different truck it feels like. Better all around, however I do miss the look of the 295s.

On a side bar, I drove a new Escalade yesterday looking to upgrade till the 300 came out. Fit, finish, and technology is hands down better than my 200 in my opinion. But drivability and all around feel brought me back to my 200 with 110,000 miles on it. Hence the new rubber today. Its like I have a new truck.

Pictures?

Interesting thoughts on the Escalade. I can definitely see the technology aspect of it but fit and finish? I guess the materials in the LC would be slightly lower grade than the Escalade. Of course when you include durability, nothing beats an LC.

So you are running 275/70/18's? When my Lexus Is out of warranty and my Michelins are ready to be changed out I was going to run the BFG KO2's 275/55/20 and blackout the LX emblems. Kind of like James Bond in tennis shoes. How do the BFG's ride compared to the OEM tires your LC came with?

Congrats!

Btw i also drove the new Escalade but for a very short while, huge improvement over the old one. However i wouldn't go as far as saying the interior is better fitted together/tightly screwed than a 200. Most new cars especially these days feel very tight when new, however that is not always the case as the miles rack up and the years go by.
LC felt more solid to me anyway.

New Escalade (& all GM full size SUV's) w/third row down, cargo floor looks like a ski slope.

just put some 285 KO2s on my stock '14 LC and love them. they are quiet on the highway and great off-road. just got my wife a '15 escalade and its pretty cool too. my personality fits my 200 better but love drivin the lade.

I don't have the caps on yet, but here are the pics, just 5 minutes after Discount mounted them up.
