Well I finally got some new tires. I think it made quite a difference in the look.

33x10.5's?

look great

How much $ and from where? Looks good.

I like the color and '70's-era stripe. Looks good but needs about 2-3" more lift.

When I first got it I was going to remove the stripe. It has grown on me and now I like it. My 2.5 lift is also just fine with me, thanks.

If you don't like going off-road or don't mind sheetmetal damage.

We're taking 33's not 38's you know. No hardcore wheeling in this one anyhow.

Ok, if they rub on the rear inner wheel well they will start to expose your spot welds pretty bad. Also if they hang up on the front fender, say by to your straight fenders. Doesn't take hardcore wheeling, just a little articulation.

Dang, I thought I read on here that this size was OK with 2.5 lift, just slight rub at full articulation. Congrats, you just ruined my day. Any other opines out there that can rescue it?

I have a 2.5 inch lift with some leafs removed and run the 33x10.50 bfg's and yes there is some rubbing but not a lot. I don't have a true 2.5 lift either. My problem is hitting the drag link when turning, I think my powersteering box mount is bigger than stock. Otherwise it is a good combo

your fine with the lift and tire size for your use....

and I am glad you kept the stripe.....its retro cool :)

I see no difference.........................

Wait !!

I do.. I do now.

Yes, it looks much better with the running boards on..

:grinpimp:

Looks good! I am going for a similar look in the near future!
:)

34x10.5x15

i just got a set of SS LTBs and got my tires stuck up inside my wheels wells yesterday. they weren't actually stuck, but i had to be very careful while getting out of the situation i was in without ripping up my tires and sheetmetal.

so remember, my tires are only 1 inch larger(yes, knobs of course) and i got it bad yesterday on a small dirt mound. pretty pathetic! just be careful. im thinking 3-4in of lift.
