mmm love that new top smell! Enjoy those clear, unscratched windows while they last. ;)

Great looking rig.

I wish I could get one......Too bad I'm forkin out money to have my 80 fixed....

I have a whole sale account with Trans America, I paid $655.99, with shipping. I love this Top. And the New top smell ! ! ! !

An example of nicely fitting top.
Looks great.

Looks great. I have a 1974, almost the same color, with a 1976 motor, and the same top in the same color. But it looks like you have the fastrac rails, right? I got the one with snaps. Yours has a cleaner smoother look. Mine looks like it's on too tight. But I got it in October 2006 and it still has new top smell. :bounce:

It looks great! Hey, do me a favor. I got the same exact top for my 74 last summer but got it used, so no instructions. I got it installed OK but would like to either see pictures or scan and email me the instruction that show the right way to turn it into a semi-bikini top. I think you zip out the rear window and roll up the sides but I want to be sure. If they have the same info on the right way to lower and fold the entire top, that would be great too.

Sorry I have thrown my insturction's away. I will not roll my windows up for at least a week or so then I will take pics, for you.

The instructions don't show how to do it anyway....unless i'm drastically mistaken.....

Here are the instructions for the install however...

http://bestop.com/installation_guides/51464.pdf

For the Bikini option you remove the rear window, roll up the sides....this will leave a dogleg or section in the rear that can be folded forward if you like and secured with the snap straps......
MAKE SURE you secure the two supplied straps in the rear to the footman loops you installed with the top....that will be what holds the top tight....
Edit: no instructions on the correct lowering procedure either but you might give Bestop a call....they have a super tech line....

Your top looks great....Is it the black denim? It looks like a different finish than the one I bought 3 months ago...

Your truck looks great!! You will be happy with the top; it is made of high quality and assembled very well.

What size tires are you running?

Hey man, do yourself a favor and go down to a boat shop or hardware store to pick up a couple of snap kits. The flaps around door frame, with velcro, have an annoying habit of coming loose.

cool thanks for pictures looks good both of them which is better demin or vinyl

I have a black denim on my CJ and black vinyl as you can see on my 40...both are by bestop...Both seem nice - The denim seems thicker than the vinyl....
Its almost like choosing flat black (denim) or gloss black (vinyl).....

I like both but the vinyl is my fav.....
