Han and I went into UNMH today to have a version done....basically the baby was feet first and they were going to try and spin him 180 inside the womb. The process invovles some heavy pushing and coaxing of the baby in order to turn him. Needless to say it didn't work....but it did work to put Han into some contractions and dilate. So off we go into surgery and shortly after via C-section baby Kaden is kicking and screaming. Even though he was two weeks early, he weighed in at a solid 7lbs 12oz.

Han and the baby are doing well and will be getting some well needed rest tonight. She'll be in room 2 of the mother baby unit if anyone wants to stop by - I think we'll be coming home by Saturday. Now to get the car seat base in the 80 tomorrow

AWESOME, a big congrats to you both!!!!

Big Congrats, Kieth and Han! I don't think something like this needs to be vehicle related (but you are going to start the LC brainwashing early right?).

Great news Keith! Thanks for letting us all know. That's an impressive weight for 2 weeks early. I'll look forward to meeting the latest addition to the LC family when he and Han are ready to venture out into the world.

off course it's vehicle related, unless you plan on making him walk home! you even had an 80 tech mention in your post.

Congrats on the new family member!

To heck with making this tech. Congrats Han and Keith! That boy had cooked long enough. Now the fun begins.

Very cool! Glad to hear that it went well in the grand scheme of things.

A huge congratulations to both of you! Very exciting news. We're looking forward to making his acquaintance!

YEAH! congrats from the Williams'! hope you are caught up on your sleep...you won't get any more for the next month.:D

Congratulations! He looks like a keeper. :)

Great news!

Only 1 month?

That's cumulative. You forgot, Shawn works at the fire station for days at a time. Whenever they had a baby, he put in for OT. Jill stayed home with the kids.

Fasten your seatbelts, it's going to be a bumpy (but the best) ride of your life. Some newborns are cute and some look like aliens - you got a cute one!

No one should ever feel uncomfortable posting life-altering information here. It's always been a pretty tight group and we care to hear it. One of the first things I did when my first son was born was post to what was then the yahoo list. I did the same thing on Mud after I got my (umm first) DWI.

we can't scare the guy right out of the gate!:D

But it's more fun this way. I thought it was the right of every experienced parent to scare the crap out of new parent.
