As @John Young mentioned, we would love to have some 90 / 95 Series join us at this Fall’s event.
It’s the largest gathering of 70 Series Land Cruisers in North America on an annual basis but
ALL LAND CRUISERS are welcome to attend. We’ve never had a 90 or 95 Series attend and would like to see that change. Drop me a PM if you have questions.

Surely, we can average more than 1 Prado at this year’s event. 😊

Hello, anyone knows if Rzj95/2000 tail lights are interchangeable with 4Runners?

Hi all,

My son went to NZ to study for a semester and came home with a little souvenir, a ‘97 1kz right hand drive, kids…

I think he wants to beef it up a little, suspension, bumpers, hopefully nothing too crazy.

Our first problem happened during shipping, mold. No desiccant in the vehicle when it shipped in the container so it’s got some growth inside, nothing a steam cleaner shouldn’t be able to fix.

First little project is hopefully cruise control. It looks like that something we can add but I have searched hard here yet. I’m sure you’ll be hearing from both of us a lot.

So last night I finally got on with some work on the Little Prado's center console. One of the things I really like to do is put camel leather on various bits of the Land Cruisers. I did a trial run first but the leather I used was too thick because I boiled it to make it very flexible.

The trial run is the darker of the two. I could not get the insert to fit in, but by using hot water I got the flexibility I needed without causing the leather to shrink so much that it got too thick.

I made a new console lid for mine, not as nice looking as that though!

Very nice, and the cupholders are a very nice addition. Won't work for me because the intended driver has a dog whos feet would go right in the holes!
I think I’ll be remaking it again at some point, I do a bit of leather work in a different hobby realm of mine, but never done what you’re doing. I’d love to learn how

I've posted several times on using camel leather. If you do a search for that phrase there may be some information that could find useful.

I've had great success with the Autostrada aftermarket cruise control in the prado, two 80s and two 105s. All manual. But I think they make an auto too. Australian made and a quality unit, not like some of the stuff you see on amazon which makes me wince. I would say that I chose to have all the units professionally installed. I need cruise control because I get some leg discomfort when driving for longer than 45 minutes or so, but I also love manual transmissions, and Mr. Toyoda never offered CC on manuals.

Fair warning, the Autostrada unit aint cheap, but to me this is a safety issue.
